This
person came to the Asylum on Saturday the 2nd. Inst. and pleaded for
admission, and left on the same evening at about 5 p.m. on her own
request she was again ? for admission
on Monday the 4th Inst. and came up on the 5th. for the purpose of bringing
her things in, and di not return until the 6th. about 2 p.m. when she stated
she was going to remain at a females who was her midwife.She seemed very
disturbed in mind and dissatisfied with the Rules of the Institution. |

female discharged herself by remaining out all night, was afterwards allowed
Provisions No.1 by the Committee, but on the 22nd came up to the Asylum
crying and calling out that she was going to die and greatly agitated on
being seen by the Master, she was sent to bed, soon after she gave birth to
her child. On her own request, being cautioned by the Matron on leaving so
early after her confinement. |

the neck quite dead, from one fo the rafters of the Lower Round House. £2/7/6
and silver watch was found on him, the cash paid to Secretary, a magistrate’s
enquiry was held and verdict Suicide by Hanging. |
