to the Asylum by his Cousin, William Gierson, this man was unmanageable, and
considered by the Medical Officer not a fit case for this Institution as he
suffers form Softening of the Brain, and has no control of his actions.
Reported to President, H. Joseph Esq. on 16th. Inst. On examination by Drs.
Holthouse, Radcliffe, Whitcombe and Bunce he was not considered in a place of
safety as he was unmanageable was removed by Police and sent to Lunatic
Asylum. |

found by Messrs. Lewis & Armstrong in a deplorable state with his wife
who was ? to see Mr. Lewis in the 12th for admission to the District
Hospital. - Absconded from the Asylum on the 12th. and 13th. was quite
insane, crawling under the inmates’ beds after his wife, and making use of
disgusting and blasphemous language. |
